This year, we are kicking off meet season with a little community service project. The host club (Twin City Twisters) of the Peppermint Twist Invitational has added a new component to their competition: raising money for the charity of your choice. Athletes raise money prior to competition to support their favorite charity, and after competition the top 3 teams receive an additional $500 toward their donation. What a great idea!
Our athletes have chosen the Colon Cancer Coalition in honor of a Pinnacle family member's current battle. Kris Illum has been involved in the Pinnacle program as a customer, employee, and team mom. As she continues in her fight, the Pinnacle team is uniting along side her.
