Meet Coach Claire!
Claire attended Emporia State University, where she graduated with a degree in psychology. She has been coaching at Pinnacle for three and a half years, and recently worked at an elementary school in Emporia. In her free time she enjoys going on walks or trying new recipes she finds on Pinterest. Two of Claire's favorite things are Mexican food and taking a trip to the mountains. She is also a proud cat mom to an energetic and playful kitten, Fish.
Throughout her whole life, Claire's mom has given her the push and support she needed to reach her fullest potential. Her mom has always been there to answer her questions late at night or to provide her with some guidance when she didn't know where life was going to take her. Claire is extremely grateful for the work ethic and positive outlook on life that she learned from her mom.
Claire comes into work looking forward to coaching every day. When her students come to class smiling and ready to have fun, it makes her smile and gets her ready to have fun as well. Making connections with her students and watching them grow are just a few reasons why she loves coaching.
She's always excited to be at the gym and brings a fun and positive environment to each class. Becoming a preschool manager allows her to be involved in the growth and learning of the preschool students. Working with young children has always been a passion of Claire's, and she constantly reiterates how she feels lucky to have the opportunity to do that every day.
Outside of the gym, Claire dreams of traveling outside of the United States. She is passionate about learning and experiencing different cultures and would love to travel more.
