Pinnacle Gymnastics celebrated the beginning of construction on a new facility by breaking ground with Shawnee officials, family, staff, and customers on Friday, June 2nd. Members from the Shawnee Chamber of Commerce, City Council, and Mayor Distler were in attendance for this monumental event.
At the event, Owner, Morgan Kuchynka, shared details about the new facility and thanked the community, her family, staff, and customers for the support.
"The support of the community and our customers has driven this decision to build a bigger, better facility. We are ecstatic to be able to expand and improve our programming and parent viewing. With new ninja training equipment, additional pit landing surfaces, a dance room, dedicated gym and learn room, larger parking lot, and two story parent viewing, our new facility will be one of the most sophisticated gymnastics studios in the metro." - Morgan Kuchynka
After welcoming and congratulatory remarks from the Mayor, attendees marked the beginning of construction by digging in together. Construction is expected to take around 6 months. Pinnacle hopes to begin operating classes in the new facility in January 2018.
